Critical Acclaim
Unflinching tension, sharp social critique, and visceral style make Squid Game a global sensation.
A gripping, blood-splattered allegory of capitalist greed that chills to the bone.
Anchored by Lee Jung-jae's heartbreaking turn, the simplicity of the games underscores the harrowing depth of human desperation.
Fan Reviews
A survival drama, Squid Game shows why its first season took a decade to plan, whereas the rushed rest adds almost nothing to the plot.
An incredibly original critique of the reality show genre in which participants have no idea that elimination in a game translates into death. Great character development and unexpected plot twists.
I don’t know what to say; the idea is cool and the creators obviously had a lot of fun, but the more I watch, the more boring it gets. One of the best things about this show is the acting; they did a great job
