Critical Acclaim
Jake Gyllenhaal is in monstrous physical shape, anchoring an explosive, bone-crunching thrill ride.
Doug Liman directs with manic kinetic energy, making full use of Conor McGregor's wild charisma.
Sun-drenched, sweat-soaked, and proudly unhinged pulp entertainment.
Fan Reviews
Watching bad guys get their comeuppance is generally a satisfying premise, and a few ropey bits of cgi aside, this Roadhouse remake doesn’t really make it fairly well.
Just a solid action movie all the way through with some interesting parallels to the original. Entertaining and well done.
Road House is a classic B-level action movie. I didn't watch the original, and I decided to watch Road House only because of Jacob Gyllenhaal's participation in the project.
